How it is deployed
- Select a straight run (typically 10D upstream, 5D downstream) on the pump header or DMA inlet.
- Enter pipe and fluid parameters, clamp the transducers and confirm signal strength.
- Log instantaneous and totalized flow overnight to capture minimum night flow.
- Transfer data, compare night flow against expected consumption and flag DMAs with excess leakage.
