Why we built it

Customers in petrochemical, oil and gas, chemical and pharmaceutical plants repeatedly asked for our reliable transit-time measurement in a form safe for classified areas. The YF-W200D answers that with a rugged Ex converter and a choice of externally mounted clamp-on transducers — for zero shutdown, zero pressure drop and no wetted moving parts — or a stainless insertion assembly for lined, high-solids or difficult pipes. A dual-balance differential signal circuit keeps readings stable even close to variable-frequency drives, transmitters and high-voltage equipment.

Integration

The converter provides one 4–20 mA analog output, one isolated OCT pulse, one relay and an isolated RS485 Modbus port, with three 4–20 mA analog inputs for temperature, pressure and level. Paired Pt100 sensors add heat/BTU energy measurement. Power is DC 8–36 V or optional AC 85–264 V at just 1.5 W.
